After several weeks of physical therapy, traction, and chiropractic work I decided to have a consult with Dr. Sharan. He reviewed my MRI and concluded it would be best for me to have ACDF surgery to correct a pinched nerve that was causing severe pain and numbness down my left arm. He and his staff are very kind and went over everything with me and answered all my questions. Even when I got cold feet, he took the time to review everything with me again and I went through with the surgery. Almost three months later, I am pain-free and only have minimal numbness in my thumb. I highly recommend Dr. Sharan and his team if you are suffering from pain.

I went in for a consultation for my herniated disk, and Dr. Sharan recommended surgery. He was very comforting and supportive and made sure that I understood what would happen. My herniated disk was terrible and gave me sciatica. After the surgery, I feel great! And after every session of PT, I feel closer to 100%! I could not be happier!

A gentleman who explains in layman's terms, answers all of your questions, keeps in touch with his patients on a regular and consistent basis, and expertly fixed a problem that was quickly wrecking my quality of life... I met Dr. Sharan while treating at NJ SPINE AND WELLNESS. I had been suffering with sciatica for many years. After trying and failing different conservative options such as physical therapy and many epidural injections I decided I needed a more effective solution. Dr. Sharan and his staff are very friendly and informative. Dr. Sharan really took his time explaining the procedure as well as his unique technique. I was in a car accident three years ago and throughout those three years I tried Cortizon shots on my back, physical therapy, chiropractor, and even acupuncture — the pain and symptoms were just getting worse and worse. This summer I decided to have the ACDF surgery with Dr. Sharan. It went great I highly would recommend him to anyone who thinks that some sort of back surgery is what they need to do.

Dr. Sharan did a great job explaining the procedure. I was pain-free instantly after my laminectomy and did not even have to take the pain medication they gave me afterward. I am back to exercising. His staff was very friendly and made the whole process easy.

Dr. Sharan operated on my back to fix a herniated disc that was pushing on my sciatic nerve and was quite painful. Pre-surgery the pain at times was absolutely terrible. Since having the surgery, I have been great and the pain has virtually left my body. The most important thing to know about Dr. Sharan is not only a skilled and competent surgeon, he has such a great ability to calm your anxieties about your injury with kindness and compassion, and really listen to your concerns. He speaks to you about everything you want to consider before having corrective surgery. Never does he rush you away during an appointment, so you always feel important.
